Greenwoods Grille and Ale House, located in Bethel, Connecticut, is a familiar sight to many. The restaurant is located at the site of The Opera House and its interior boasts tin ceilings and exposed brick walls. The kitchen specializes in delicious and hearty pub fare. Greenwoods Grille and Ale House’s new owners know that people are looking for special food to go along with the special location.
“We’ve been hard at work, getting ready for our Grand Opening,” said Chef Matthew Stein along with his wife, Susan, owners of Greenwoods Grille and Ale House. “We are excited to open the doors and welcome our neighbors and new friends into our dining rooms. We plan on hosting live music later this summer. We know our customers are going to like what they see and taste and invite them to come see us.”
Chef Stein has been in charge of several kitchens in New York City restaurants including City Café and Second Avenue Brasserie, and he headed up the openings of both of The Broadway Diners.
Greenwoods Grille and Ale House currently offers over 30 micro and craft-style beers and will be expanding the list and introducing new brews regularly. Greenwoods Grille and Ale House is located at 186 Greenwood Avenue, in the heart of Bethel Connecticut’s downtown.
